Draft EIS Guidelines Available for Public Comment

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency has determined that a federal environmental assessment is required for the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project pursuant to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, 2012.

The Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency announced on November 8, 2013 that the draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Guidelines for the proposed Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project are being issued for a 30-day public comment period. The EIS Guidelines provide direction to the proponent and identify the information and analysis that must be provided by the proponant in the EIS.

To read the draft EIS Guidelines or for more information on the project and on the environmental assessment process, visit the CEAA website (registry reference number 80054). All comments received by CEAA will be considered public, and must be submitted to CEAA by December 8, 2013.
